How Do I Get to Heaven?

This is the most important question you will ever ask.

God loves you and desires a personal relationship with you.

John 3:16 (NKJV)
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

2 Peter 3:9 (NKJV)
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Romans 3:23 (NKJV)
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

First, we must understand that we are separated from God by sin.

We are all sinners. God sent His Son Jesus to that we can have eternal life in heaven.

Romans 5:8 (NKJV)
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

God became flesh in the person of Jesus because He loved us. Jesus died on the cross for my sin and your sin.

There is Forgiveness for your Sin

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Ephes. 2:8-9 (NKJV)
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, [9] not of works, lest anyone should boast.

How can you receive forgiveness for your sin and go to heaven?

First, be sorry for your sin. This is called repentance.

Acts 3:19 (NKJV)
Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,

Believe and Confess

Believe that Jesus Christ was born, lived a sinless life, died on the cross, was resurrected on the third day, ascended to heaven and today intercedes for us in Heaven.

Romans 10:9-10 (NKJV)
that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. [10] For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Romans 10:13 (NKJV)
For "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."

God loves you! He sent His Son Jesus to die just for you.
